About the Founder

The UNIKK Group was founded by Nene Adaobi Obi, a Nigerian-born entrepreneur who grew up immersed in local markets, family farms, and the rich variety of African cuisine. After relocating from Enugu, Nigeria to Michigan, she recognized how hard it was for African food lovers abroad to access authentic ingredients at scale.

Her majoring in Industrial Chemistry also inspires her passion for the highest quality control that preserve authentic flavor and enhance health and with experience in international trade, supply-chain management, and cross-cultural business,Nene Adaobi Obi created The UNIKK Group to:
